G360’S MKX Surpasses 3,500m³ Across Major
Melbourne Infrastructure Projects
• G360’s MKX has now been incorporated into more than 3,500m³ of concrete, equivalent to more
than 500 concrete truckloads, across major Melbourne infrastructure and civil projects.
• MKX has now been purchased by a number of concrete suppliers, including Holcim Australia, the
company’s first commercial customer, and Eifers. Concrete containing MKX has been used across
major Victorian infrastructure works including the Suburban Rail Loop, Eastern Freeway
Extension and civil works across metropolitan Melbourne with further concrete to be poured for
taxiway pavement at Melbourne Airport.
• The milestone represents an important progression in G360’s market-creation strategy, moving
MKX beyond laboratory and trial-scale validation into repeated, real-world use by established
concrete and construction industry participants.
• The growing volume, frequency and breadth of applications is building the commercial and
operational track record required to support broader market adoption and future scale-up of
MKX production.
• G360 currently has access to up to 30,000 tonnes per annum of calcining capacity at Calix
Limited’s Bacchus Marsh facility, enabling the Company to develop the market ahead of
investment in larger-scale dedicated production capacity1
.
• This market-creation phase is occurring as the Australian concrete industry prepares for
increasing structural constraints in traditional supplementary cementitious material (SCM)
supply, including fly ash and blast furnace slag.
Green360 Technologies Limited (ASX:GT3) (“GT3” “G360” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that
its MKX product (Metakaolin X calcined clay) has now been used in more than 3,500m³ of concrete across
major infrastructure projects in Melbourne, including the Suburban Rail Loop and Eastern Freeway Extension,
as well as other civil works programs across metropolitan Melbourne. A further pour for taxiway pavement
at Melbourne Airport is scheduled to occur this week and next.
MKX has now been purchased and used in commercial pours by a number of concrete suppliers including
Eifers and Holcim Australia, the Company’s first commercial customer.2
Executive Chairman Aaron Banks said:
“The significance of 3,500m³ is not simply the volume of concrete poured. It is what those pours tell us about
the progression of MKX in the market.
Our strategy has been to create the market before we build large-scale production capacity. That means
getting MKX out of the laboratory and into real concrete, real infrastructure projects and the hands of the
companies that ultimately need to use these materials at scale.
More than 3,500m³ of concrete across multiple projects and applications gives customers, engineers,
contractors and infrastructure owners the opportunity to see MKX performing under real-world conditions.
Each successful application adds to the body of experience and industry confidence around the product.
Importantly, we are doing this while we have access to up to 30,000 tonnes per annum of calcining capacity
through Calix. This allows G360 to develop customers, applications, specifications and demand before
committing capital to substantially larger dedicated production capacity.
At the same time, the industry is facing a structural change in the availability of traditional SCMs such as fly
ash and blast furnace slag. We believe the opportunity for G360 is therefore considerably larger than simply
introducing another cement replacement product. We are working to establish MKX as part of the next
generation of Australia’s concrete materials supply chain.”

Industry seeking alternative SCM supply
Supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) such as fly ash and blast furnace slag are critical ingredients in
modern concrete. However, their supply is expected to become increasingly constrained as coal-fired power
stations close and steel production transitions to new technologies.
This structural change is driving the concrete and infrastructure sectors to consider alternative SCMs capable
of providing reliable, scalable long-term supply.
In June, more than 20 representatives from Victorian Government infrastructure delivery bodies visited
G360’s Pittong operations to understand the Company’s resource, manufacturing capabilities and plans to
establish a scalable domestic MKX supply chain3
.
MKX market creation and commercialisation
G360’s commercialisation strategy is focused on developing the market for MKX ahead of the establishment
of larger-scale dedicated production capacity.
MKX is G360’s commercially produced metakaolin SCM, developed as an alternative to traditional
supplementary cementitious materials including fly ash and blast furnace slag. MKX can replace up to 40% of
Portland cement in concrete.
Kaolin from G360’s Pittong operations is currently calcined at Calix Limited’s Bacchus Marsh facility, providing
access to up to 30,000 tonnes per annum of calcining capacity in close proximity to the Melbourne concrete
market.
This capacity provides G360 with a platform from which to progressively develop demand, customer
relationships, specifications, logistics and real-world application experience before transitioning to larger-
scale dedicated production.
With more than 3,500m³ of MKX-containing concrete now placed, the market-creation program is generating
an increasingly substantial body of real-world experience across infrastructure and civil construction
applications.
G360 considers this phase important to the Company’s scale-up strategy: develop the market first, establish
repeatable demand and industry confidence, and then scale production capacity in response to that market.
This approach is intended to progressively de-risk future investment in dedicated production capacity by
allowing customer demand, product applications, specifications and supply-chain requirements to be
established through real-world commercial use
The Company remains focused on increasing commercial volumes through the existing market-creation
platform while progressing its longer-term strategy to establish MKX as a large-scale domestic SCM supply
option.
G360’s strategy is therefore centred on the convergence of two developments: the progressive establishment
of MKX through real-world commercial use, and the expected structural tightening in the availability of
traditional SCMs. The Company believes this provides an opportunity to develop MKX from an emerging
alternative SCM into a material component of Australia’s future concrete supply chain.

About Green360 Technologies Limited
Green360 Technologies (ASX:GT3) is an Australian-based building materials supplying Kaolin products to blue
chip customers in the concrete, paint, paper, adhesives, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics industry.
G360 was the first company to commercialise metakaolin (calcined kaolin) as a supplementary cementitious
material (SCM) in the Australian concrete market. The product, known under the platform of MKX, is a low
carbon partial cement replacement product which reduces the embodied carbon in concrete, the world’s second
largest cause of CO2 emissions.
The Australian concrete industry is facing an imminent supply shortage of existing SCMs (predominately fly ash,
blast furnace slag and silica fume) and MKX is strategically positioned to replace these products in the market.
Our objective is not simply to sell another SCM. It is to help build the next generation supply chain for the
concrete industry.
